Zach and Christina Freeman

Zach and Christy have been the youth leaders for 3 years.     They have been married for 8 years. They have two sons,        Owen and Braden.  Christy plays the piano and sings on        the worship team and Zach is part of our altar ministry.           Their family resides in Elwood, IL.

The "Igniters"

Our youth group started over 3 years ago.  We started with around 5 kids, and from that point word-of-mouth and the excitement that the youth have shown brought their friends in; and so we are blessed to keep growing. Now we range from 15-20 youth. We have some type of youth function once a month to grow unity between our group. We also believe that the youth should have a strong input into our current church services, so once every third month our kids run the Sunday night service. This will help them to understand what it is like to lead people to worship the Lord and give them guidance to help lead outside the four walls. Also, this will help them to know what it is like to have the anointing on them, for God to use them. They enjoy helping others in the since of donating to the less fortunate. Most are hungry to be a part of the will that God has for them. We have named our youth the "Igniters", to show forth the excitement and the fire that young people can start for the Lord.  
Our ages start at 12 years old through college age.

   We appreciate the prayers & support that has been shown to our youth group. Thank you so much for being involved in the activities & for showing that you have the time for them & that they are important & truly matter.  Let's take the time to invest in our future...the youth today are the adults in charge tomorrow!

Youth Rally

JUNE 2010

          The youth group will be going to Georgia to attend             "The Jentzen Franklin Youth Rally". 

This will be an awesome experience for our youth!

If you feel the leading of the Lord to donate to this worthy cause, please contact Zach or Christina. 

For our youth to be a part of the ministries of a church as they mature in the Lord, we need to teach them today.
